Our beautiful Costa del Sol villa, La Huerta del Angel, is located in the mountainous Spanish countryside beside the river Iberos on the outskirts of Macharaviaya, a municipality stretching over 7.2 km with two hamlets: Macharaviaya and Benaque.

It is 27 km from Malaga city, heading towards Almeria on the autovia del Mediterraneo. You should take the exit 258 that says Chilches, Benajarafe and Macharaviaya. It is a winding road, 7 km long, which takes you up through a landscape of almond trees, olive trees and muscatel vine yards to the Cerro de la Capellanìa from where you can see a beautiful view of Axarquia and the village below at 235 metres above sea level.

This unique Costa del Sol villa - or 'cortijo' as they say in Spain - is very near Malaga (27km), just a 12-minute drive from the coast (7km),nd 35 minutes from Malaga airport (37km).
